The Lea Valley Federation has produced its own set of proposals for the future of the Lea Bridge Area: from Ferry Lane in the north to Homerton Road in the south. There are two documents:
1. "Lower Lea Marshes, London's green lung: Proposals for an Improved Parkland".
This is an illustrated summary of our proposals, which also has been printed as a leaflet.
2. "Lower Lea Marshes: the Lea Valley Federationís proposals for the Lee Valley Regional Park".
This is a full, formal set of our proposals as a consultation document, to be considered by the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority. It is not in printed form but can be downloaded here.
We held a Public Meeting on Tuesday 15th March 2011 at the Round Chapel schoolroom, Hackney to discuss these proposals and other issues. A summary of the meeting will be posted soon.
Responses to the Lee Valley Regional Park Authority's public consultation (closed 29th March 2011)
The Lea Valley Federation responded formally to the consultation, and "...we believe the Authority are on the right lines in general terms and we wish the Authority health and strength in pursuit of its duty to protect and develop our great regional asset."
Groups affiliated to the Lea Valley Federation submitted their own responses to the consultation. Links to all responses are below.
